If you want to feel the Latin rhythm and enjoy the atmosphere, check out one the following Latin clubs in Madrid:
Azúcar
Very authentic place and full of Latin American people. The party starts after midnight and peaks around 2 am. Image and dress is very important in Azúcar. When dancing the columns in the middle of the dancefloor can be quite annoying and the dance floor can get busy. Be careful with some of the Latinos who are eager to pounce on unaccompanied females and can be persistent.

Cats
This Latino bar has two dance floors and is mainly for lovers of "salsa en linea" (New York style). Every two hours there is a dance show that everyone can join in and copy the choreography of the professionals on stage which is really fun! It is ideal for those wanting to dance salsa and meet a mix of young dancers from South America, Africa and of course Spaniards. The place is down to earth and not pretentious. There is a limited range of cocktails.

This is the most popular salsa club in the centre of Madrid. It is open everyday and Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays are the busiest nights. The cocktail list is as varied as the clientele, which is made up of tourists, Latinos and Spaniards. The is a dance show for everyone to join in every other hour which is good fun. This is the coolest Cuban place in the Centre of Madrid with performances from live bands after midnight. It has great cocktails, an authentic atmosphere with loads of people but limited space for dancing. The food and service is good and it is highly recommended before going out for dancing!

It has a very good atmosphere with air conditioning and enough space for dancing. The music is cool and the people are nice. Food is served after midnight and is included in the price. Despite this, for some reason it is not the most popular place, so although we recommended that you visit it, you should check first if it is worth the entrance fee.
